Broadridge is hiring! We are seeking an IT Portfolio Project Director to join our team! This is a highly strategic and collaborative role that operates independently with responsibility to drive the planning, developing, and implementation of significant and complex IT software development projects. These projects sit within a comprehensive portfolio that spans across an array of ICS business and product lines, within the Investor Communications (ICS) IT Product Development Organization. We are looking for someone to leverage their knowledge in both Waterfall and Agile delivery methods in order to successfully deliver their full project portfolio that spans across a multitude of business and product lines. They will partner with various business and IT stakeholders to help define overall project scope and then develop and drive the strategy. The IT Portfolio Project Director will create a plan or framework that ensures all dependencies, risks, issues, requirements, and solutions, align with the individual IT roadmap as well as business leader and stakeholder requirements, to achieve successful client deliverables and keep the overall program healthy and on time.
Work Modes- Hybrid We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remote.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for coordinating, driving, and evaluating the full IT life-cycle of project results within their portfolio, which includes all requests for proofs of concept, product enhancements/modernization, and alignment of strategic priorities.
Collaborates directly with the IT and business Leadership team to understand business strategies, priorities, and long-range planning opportunities for translation into the IT strategy and roadmap
Presents analysis and recommendations to the Sr. Leadership team and other stakeholders that improve implementation strategies, encompassing all aspects of IT portfolio management, including technology assessments, budgeting, planning, acquisition management and measures/metrics of project portfolio performance
Provides project stakeholders with consistent project portfolio status across multiple business line and product workstreams; this includes the assessment of risk to timeline, consistent bottlenecks, budget progress, client satisfaction, as well as managing impact of changes to project scope
Tracks and reports status through consistent, standardized dashboards and metric reporting in support of Broadridge and department specific strategic goals and objectives
Evaluates drivers and trends for IT product applicability and identify opportunities for further research and/or investment
Qualifications:
BA/BS Required; MS/MBA Preferred
PMP/CSM/PMI-ACP certifications preferred
20+ years of proven Technology Project Management experience within an Enterprise Technology organization
20+ years leading complex multiple technology project portfolios, utilizing Agile/SCRUM methodologies
20+ years of experience contributing to a software delivery lifecycle across multiple product lines
Expertise in following a SDLC process and acting as a continuous improvement advocate during a Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC); project methodologies include: Waterfall and Agile tools and frameworks (Scrum, XP, SAFe, etc.)
Experience partnering with Distributed IT Engineering teams located in multiple time-zones and in complex environments with an onsite and offshore model
Experience in budget management, analysis, measurement, and governance
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, across multiple and diverse business and systems groups; participate in continual process improvement
Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $175,000-$195,000. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
