Business Analytics Senior Analyst - Evernorth Health Services - Hybrid

Position Summary
The primary purpose for the Business Analytics Senior Analyst is to provide direct analytic support for the Clinical Research and New Solutions department, specifically, the Market Analytics division through extraction and interpretation of clients’ data directly from our data warehouse(s). The analyst will provide reporting, analytic support, and consultation to our core customers (Product, Account Management Services, and Clinical Account Executives) engaged in the client service model. In providing this service, the analyst will need to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and will require cross-functional collaboration. This role will require a reporting and analytics background with many activities specific to client reporting and product performance.  This individual will possess functional, technical and advanced business knowledge to provide customized, ad hoc solutions for information requests. In addition, there will be a technical component that is required with a thorough understanding of relational databases, the information warehouse, claims data, and sql code.

Essential Functions
Analytics – Develop new reports, models and analytic solutions with innovative ways to present data in order to support the Account Management teams. Completion of ad-hoc reporting and analytics for Account teams.  This requires combining business knowledge and data acumen along with technical (Python, SQL) skills to efficiently complete these ad-hoc requests. Query data warehouse(s) using variety of tools available.  Extract data and manipulate into reports for client both internal and external.  Maintain turn-around times per contractual agreements.

Consultation – Consultation with account management teams to help understand complex issues and requests. Cross-Functional collaboration as needed to create alignment with stakeholders.

Collaboration – Business Analytics Senior Analyst will need to collaborate with multiple departments across the company including Product Management, Account Management, Finance, Operations, Pharma, Research, Advanced Analytics, and internal Knowledge Solutions areas. Business Analytics Senior Analyst will need to facilitate hand-offs between multiple areas and will be asked to provide SME support on multiple projects/initiatives.

Project management and prioritization – Business Analytics Senior Analyst will be overseeing multiple projects and initiatives. Business Analytics Senior Analyst will need to be able to manage multiple initiatives at the same time and negotiate timelines/priority with stakeholders.

Communication – effectively communicate goals, outcomes, direction to all stakeholders including internal employees. Create a unified voice and environment for open dialogue and collaboration.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or 1-3 years of relevant working experience
• Superior analytical, strategic planning, communication and problem solving skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office software, SQL, Excel, Python
• Experience in pulling data and understanding relational databases. Strong business and organizational skills
• Demonstrated initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Solid customer service, technical, analytical, and communication skills required
