Position Summary...

What you'll do...

As Senior Manager, Strategic Business Solutions, you will be an integral part of the leadership team, working closely with the Senior Director and cross-functional teams of product managers, business experts, operations leaders, designers, and technologists across the end-to-end Walmart US organization. Your primary focus will be to contribute to the definition and shaping of business capabilities, processes, and products horizontally across the organization to deliver significant value for our business and excellent experiences for our customers. As a Senior Manager, you will be expected to have a deep understanding of core retail business and its associated operations (stores and supply chain), product management, design principles, and technological implementation. You will be comfortable operating within the business, operations, product, design, and technology verticals, working collaboratively with various teams to indirectly influence the organization to achieve desired outcomes.

In this role, you will support the overall direction of the cross-functional teams by analyzing and understanding business objectives and customer needs, while balancing short-term requirements and long-term goals. This includes identifying business capabilities needed, translating those capabilities into technology requirements, and coordinating horizontally across the organization to prioritize technology development, testing, and deployment—all performed in concert to deliver quantifiable business value that supports the company strategy. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for supporting end-to-end product viability among business stakeholders, including scientists, regulators, community leaders, operations associates, and customers who use and interact with the data generated by our networks. You will help establish and execute product and business roadmaps, developing technology, process, and people functions into products with solid business justification, and into features and experiences that deliver the greatest possible delight to end users. Once products are launched, you will assist in monitoring the efficacy of products and use customer and business partner feedback to ensure products are meeting customer needs across each customer segmentation, adjusting products over time to continue to achieve the desired outcomes.

In summary, as a Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Director and the cross-functional teams in shaping the business capabilities, processes, and products across the organization, driving value for the business and excellent customer experiences. Your deep understanding of the retail industry, combined with your ability to collaborate effectively and indirectly influence the organization, will be key to your success in this role.
