Sr. Alteryx Consultant | About You

As a Sr. Alteryx Consultant, you are responsible for enhancing existing Alteryx workflows to meet new business requirements and assisting in assessing workflows for enhancements in the future. You will process large amounts of structured and unstructured data to build orchestrations and workflows while performing data conversions, imports, and exports. Utilizing input tools, you will directly access data sources and will lean on previous experience with multiple cloud connectors to build orchestrations and data workflows. You will connect visualization tools, create dashboards, and build custom visualizations. You will document new and existing models, solutions, and implementations.

Sr. Alteryx Consultant | Day-to-Day

• Perform data preparation, and data blending, and create data models and sets utilizing Alteryx.
• Triage and monitor requests, gather user requirements, and facilitate reporting and data requests.
• Support the curation & inventory of Alteryx Workflows, to come up with a high-level approach for the migration
• Test workflows in Alteryx and work closely with end users for certification.
• Review and analyze sizeable amounts of information to discover trends and patterns.
• Perform data conversions, imports, and exports of data within and between internal and external software systems.
• Organize and present information using data visualization techniques and tools.

Sr. Alteryx Consultant | Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of professional experience working in a technical role with progressive knowledge and skills working with data and analysis.
• 5+ years of hands-on skills and experience in Alteryx Designer, Alteryx Server, and the tools with Alteryx such as Predictive, Parsing, Transforms, and Workflow Scheduling.
• Experience using Tableau, AWS Redshift, or QlikView workbook integrations to edit underlying data.
• Experience creating and refining Tableau reports for data visualization.
• Data preparation experience using SQL or scripting languages to create ETL processes, perform data cleansing, and check data integrity.
• Deep understanding of various ways to join data including unions, joins, and fuzzy matching.
