Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team in our continuing care retirement community in the heart of Lansdale. As an LPN, you will be responsible for providing quality patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Our shifts are 12 hour shifts, 7p-7a including 2 days a week and every other weekend.  We offer an excellent benefit package after 60 days.

Responsibilities:

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician

- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical history

- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures

- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans

- Educate patients and their families on healthcare management and disease prevention

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

- Active LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures

- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

1 Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing and be currently licensed by the

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs, Department of State; or

2 Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing currently licensed to practice in another state with a temporary permit to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and must obtain Commonwealth licensure within twelve (12) months of employment; or

3. Preferably have 2 years LTC experience in a skilled nursing setting.
