Job Summary

First Physicians Group of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is looking to employ a Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery practice in Venice, Florida.

Opportunity Highlights:

 

• Full time, Monday – Friday
• Equitable weekend rounding when required
• Work in tandem with one plastic surgeon
• Provide care in the Clinic, assist in the Operating Room, and round in hospital as needed
• Perform wound checks, suture removal, drain removal, and tissue expansions
• Minor surgical procedures to include wound debridement, wound repair, injectable therapy
• Participates in coordinating patient care, scheduling, and follow-up protocols

 

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited master’s degree program
• NCCPA Certification
• Active Florida License
• BLS and ACLS
• DEA Certificate
• Surgical experience or additional surgery residency training preferred
