The salary range for this role, based in Lebanon, Kentucky is $120,300 to $180,500, range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.
Position Summary
Overall responsibility for operations includes safety, manufacturing, conversion, performance improvement, production planning, scheduling, logistics, purchasing, warehousing, engineering, business planning, capital management, budgeting, and information and decision support systems for the Pernod Ricard (Jefferson’s) Distillery in Lebanon, KY.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimizing Lebanon operations efficiency, capacity utilization and cost effectiveness.
- In conjunction with entire management team: evaluating, establishing and achieving appropriate operating and financial business performance measures.
- Foster an entrepreneurial culture within the Company that constantly generates innovative ideas, products and services to enhance effectiveness and create competitive advantage.
- Coach and develop the production management team to be an effective, aligned and collaborative team.
- Develop strategy to achieve Global Sustainability targets of Pernod Ricard Group within the facility.
- Develop and manage annual operating, overhead budgets, capital projects and execute actions plans that drive efficiencies. Manage resources to ensure objectives are delivered.
- Provides leadership to managers, supervisors and/or professional staff; may also include technical/business support or production/operation staff. Builds high performance work groups focused on customer service and delivering results. Inspires and motivates employees to achieve performance levels and potential through highly developed coaching skills, communication skills and by ensuring proper development training.
- Leads the effort to achieve stretch business results by being a champion of Continuous Improvement utilizing Lean Manufacturing tools.
- Use current and emerging technology to drive automation and production efficiency.
- Work closely with logistics, planning and raw material divisions to identify efficiency and ensure inventory targets are met without compromising customer service levels.
- Leads change initiatives to deliver business results while maintaining an engaged workforce and commitment and acceptance to the change.
- Ensure compliance of OSHA and related safety requirements.
- Ensure that all of GMP and HACCP needs are met, including future ISO certification.
- Ensure timely corrective action on all observations and non-conformances.
Requirements
Education
- Required: Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Food Sciences, Finance or Business.
- Preferred: Complete passion for whiskey and bourbon.10-15 years experience in the distilling industry.
