Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and establish (or capitalize on prior) strategic prospect customers’ management relationships for our AI infrastructure business development
- Serve as the main liaison between WNC and strategic customers, managing all aspects of the relationship from roadmap alignment to day-to-day execution, including coordinating related US local factory and Asia factory facilities.
- Build and maintain executive-level customer relationships to drive business expansion and long-term partnership success.
- Understand customer product roadmaps and identify opportunities to expand WNC’s product portfolio and spend shares.
- Understand and manage RFQ, RFP, and quotation processes in collaboration with BU product management and the related sales ops team.
- Be a key contributor to our team’s strategic planning and execution for (datacenter) switching, wired router, SD-WAN, and other edge infrastructure product lines, including software revenue and margin growth.
- Experience and capability in managing hundreds of millions in revenue and driving gross margin optimization.
- Develop and execute account plans, including performance objectives, financial targets, and pipeline generation, in collaboration with BU and BG management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, sourcing, marketing, product development, and operations to ensure consistent messaging and execution.
- Lead and participate in executive meetings, prepare strategy briefs, and organize quarterly business reviews.
- Stay well-versed with market trends and competitive landscape to facilitate and support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Strong understanding and track record in AI infrastructure (datacenter) networking products and networking ecosystems, and experience in the ODM industry
- 20-25 years of professional experience in both hands-on style and mid-level management roles for business development, account management, or product strategy in the related infrastructure networking industry
- Proven track record in customer interfacing and business management
- Proactive self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Executive presence with excellent presentation and relationship management skills
- Team-player mentality with strong work ethic and multitasking ability
- Fluent bilingual in English and Mandarin (preferred)
