OnsiteWhether aloft in the skies aboard a fighter jet protecting the skies or an airborne surveillance platform monitoring developments on the ground, our Resilient Navigation Solutions (RNS) mission area is responsible for providing advanced capabilities for multiple types of tactical aircraft and other platforms. We provide the most advanced systems to navigate in challenging environments and identify and discriminate friendly and foe objects. Part of the Collins business, RNS provides capabilities that enable critical tasks---from aircraft navigation to target identification and engagement.
RNS’s Avionics, Increment 1, and Maritime Systems (AIMS) product platform is seeking an experienced Production Control Manager to support its ASIC and Joint Strike Fighter programs.
What You Will Do:
- Evaluate and coordinating program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet contract requirements
- Release purchase requisitions to procure materials based on MRP, master production schedule, and inventory position
- Prepare work order releases based on a master production schedule, shop capacity and program priorities
- Provide status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed
- Work daily to confirm material supply and demand
- Work with program support staff to resolve material shortages and other issues impacting product build
- Report on and troubleshooting MRP system generated exceptions and taking corrective actions
- Conducti inventory checks and reconciling the system
- Perform movement of material to and from the warehouse, factory, pack/ship, and or other areas as needed.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer:
- SAP knowledge and experience; Experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and/or systems
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and environment
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or related manufacturing engineering ideally in a government contractor environment similar to Raytheon Technologies
- An understanding of the application and concepts of Planning and Production Control fundamentals including MRP, Inventory Management, Capacity Planning, Scheduling, and Lean Manufacturing
- Ability to apply Lean and Process Improvement (i.e. CORE) concepts to improve internal departmental, factory, and cross-functional processes
