Qualifications

• You enjoy putting yourself in the shoes of customers, have a grasp of user experience and design with customers, business, and operations teams in mind.
• You are excellent with numbers, can ground your thinking in analysis, use data / key metrics to identify opportunities, deliver insights, test theories, and make data-driven recommendations to drive revenue growth and improve customer experience.
• You have worked directly with engineers in product management roles to build and ship successful, customer-centric digital products for 7+ years.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills that can help the team understand customer problems and drive prioritization.
• A strong desire to problem solves for the happy path, as well as all identified edge cases to create a seamless experience.
• Comfortable with complex systems, understand common software architecture and data integration patterns.
• You know how to analyze and decompose a complex system and communicate that complexity simply and cleanly.
• You can look at a problem and create a solution all the way from top-level goals to smaller operational details.
• You understand other disciplines, can bring everyone together and persuade a wide range of audiences using clear communication and strong structured thinking.
• You have the urge and resilience to challenge the status quo and make things better.
• You love helping engineers, designers, operations experts, and other teams around you do their best work. You can motivate, energize, and inspire people towards a common goal.

Minimum Education

Computer science undergraduate (or other engineering degree equivalent) or business/management undergraduate degree

Responsibilities

• In this role, you will lead multiple cross-functional teams to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds.
• You will build a deep understanding of our customers, their needs and market opportunities; leverage data to define strategies that will differentiate us and help us grow.
• You will collaborate with and influence key stakeholders across the organization, including the wider product teams, company leadership, business, tech, ops, marketing, compliance, legal, cyber, fraud, regulatory affairs and more to gain alignment and support for the strategy.
• You will work to create long-term growth and work to hit short-term targets.
• You will be responsible for product roadmap and feature definition, partner with tech and design teams to deliver platform components to meet intended experience.
• Develop and communicate the strategy used to support the overall product vision.
• Prioritize the product backlog to maximize customer and business outcomes.
• Maintain a healthy backlog of work for development teams and play a critical role in many agile ceremonies.
• Responsible for a team of direct reporting Product Owners and Business Systems Analysts

 

Salary Range Information

Our base salary for this position located in New York generally ranges between $170,000 - $200,000 annually, depending on business needs and on your qualifications and experience. Base salary does not include incentive compensation, commission, or any other type of remuneration or benefits.
