Automotive Technician - Chrysler Certified

Jeff Wyler Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge & Ram of Columbus, OH is currently seeking Chrysler Certified Automotive Technicians to join our busy service department. 

CURRENT TECHNICIANS WITH ASE CERTIFICATION OR VEHICLE MANUFACTURERS CERTIFICATION IN AT LEAST 5 OF THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES NEED ONLY APPLY!

• Brakes
• Electrical/Electronic Systems
• Heating and Air Conditioning
• Engine Performance
• Suspension and Steering
• Engine Repair
• Automatic Transmission/Trans axle
• Manual Drive Train and Axles
• Light Vehicle Diesel Engines

Responsibilities Include:

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including: Electrical, steering, suspension, brake, air conditioning and transmission
• Perform quality inspections of vehicles to identify necessary and recommended repairs
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Communicate directly with the service advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs to proper specifications
• Maintain a clean working environment

Chrysler Certified Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-year job experience as a Chrysler Certified Automotive Technician
• Must be level 2 or higher Chrysler Certified
• High degree of mechanical aptitude with a focus on efficiency.
• Effective oral & written communication
• Ability to follow directions
• Comprehension of safety & policy practices
• Ability to use a computer
• A customer first attitude
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must have full mobility and be able to work with hands above head for extended periods of time.
• Must have valid driver’s license
