What Will You Do?

Supports Agency Operations in maximizing the sale of profitable business by handling prospect and client insurance needs and field marketer service requests in the areas of personal lines and/or small commercial lines.

 

Additional job duties include: 

• Services personal and /or smaller commercial lines policies directly with client and/or others in the agency.
• Selects appropriate carriers and brokers for personal and/or small commercial client or prospect needs.
• Administers rating processes and quote preparation and provides input to Commercial Service Representatives and Agency Marketers for multiple agency alliances as appropriate for the prospect or client.
• Negotiates terms and conditions with carriers and brokers for prospects, clients or colleagues in the agency relative to personal, health, and small commercial lines.
• Handles claim notification from clients, marketers, and third-parties in a timely, accurate, and confidential manner.
• Assists in the distribution of correspondence, handling of phone calls, accounting/banking needs, and policy administration including third party certificates and endorsements.
• Utilizes agency's management system for client and prospect information

Qualifications Required: 

• High school diploma or GED.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required insurance licensing.
• Minimum 2 years experience in an industry related customer service position.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• An unquestioned ability to retain confidential business and/or personnel information.

Personal Service Representative range is $26.90 - $36.30. Pay may vary depending on job-related factors and individual experience, skills, knowledge, etc. More information can be discussed with a with a member of the Recruiting team.
