We’re looking for an Account Executive to help launch and grow our new SaaS market-intelligence platform - Lumos. How you'll make an impact
We’re launching Lumos, our new self-serve SaaS platform that delivers powerful market-intelligence tools directly to game studios, publishers, investors and agencies. As our first full-time Account Executive dedicated to Lumos, you’ll own the full customer journey from identifying prospects to onboarding and renewals, while playing a key role in shaping our sales strategy, go-to-market approach and early customer relationships.
What we expect you to do
Build and manage a pipeline of potential customers including game publishers, developers, investors and research firms.
Run discovery calls, deliver compelling product demos and negotiate deals from start to close.
Guide new customers through initial onboarding and help them unlock the value of Lumos quickly.
Identify opportunities for expansion and drive renewals, helping us achieve >120% Net Revenue Retention.
Gather customer insights and share feedback with Product and Engineering to inform roadmap decisions.
Represent Lumos and Gameopedia at major gaming conferences like GDC, Gamescom, and TGS.
What we believe you need to succeed in the role
Don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes - we’re looking for someone who’s eager to learn, take initiative, and grow with us.
2–5 years of sales/consulting experience in B2B SaaS, data, or analytics solutions.
Track record in closing deals between $20–100k ARR.
Passion and strong familiarity with the video-game ecosystem—you can understand the language of publishers, studios and/or game-tech vendors. Most of the following names are familiar to you: Valve, Capcom, Konami, Bethesda, Activision Blizzard, CD Projekt, Take-Two, Firaxis, Rockstar, Paradox, Embracer, Devolver, Naughty Dog, Ubisoft, EA, Square Enix, ID Software, Team17. These will be your target accounts.
Discovery, consultative selling, and storytelling skills.
Ability to manage multi-stakeholder sales cycles and translate data into commercial value.
CRM discipline (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
Startup mindset—proactive, flexible, and energised by building from scratch.
NOTE: This is not a remote position. Candidates must have a valid work permit for Norway and be able to work from our Lillestrøm office periodically.
