Pharmacy Delivery Driver (PRN)

Job Description:

Answer telephone and handle questions that do not require pharmacist’s expertise or judgment.

Receive written prescriptions or telephoned refill requests.

Gather information needed to prepare prescriptions.

Record information needed before prescriptions can be dispensed.

Store written prescription forms after prescriptions are dispensed.

Help pharmacists prepare prescriptions by counting or pouring medications, labeling containers, and pricing prescriptions

Keep HIPAA updated and sign up new customers.

Ring purchases on cash registers and record them in logs when necessary.

Make deliveries to clients and accept payments when necessary.
