Being based in San Francisco is preferred, however, the appointee could potentially be based in New York too. This role will have unique visibility into the operations and strategy of the firm, as well as the TPG Capital platform, the first business formed within TPG when the firm was founded in 1992, currently one of the largest platforms at TPG by assets under management. This position supports the President with generating insights, prioritization and the enabling of effective decision-making. This hire supports the broader platform by managing projects, and executing and communicating strategic initiatives.</p> <p><strong>Principal Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong> </strong>Communications and content development: <ul> <li>Support communication internally and externally, including research and presentation Examples may include synthesis of firm management and market news, strategic priorities presentations, internal platform messaging, and external presentations for clients and/or shareholders</li> <li>Partner directly with the President to develop and own a library of thought leadership on the investing landscape and TPG’s strategy for Limited Partners and other audiences</li> </ul> </li> <li>Meeting and process management: <ul> <li>Assist in the management of the President’s schedule; partner with Executive Assistants to inform time management and ensure priorit
