About the role

OAPSE transfer bid requests via internal applications will be accepted until 2:00 pm on 8/13/2026


Contract Hours:  5.75 hours
Report Times:   9:15 am to 3:00 pm 
Salary:  $15.73 per hour starting rate in accordance with the OAPSE collective bargaining agreement (CBA)

Position available due to the resignation of Jodie Stipanovich.

Duties and Responsibilities: (See Building Principal for specific details of assignment)

  • Perform clerical duties and responsibilities in support of the building administrators and administrative support team
  • Assist secretaries with daily duties as assigned
  • Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate and act as a liaison for the building administrators
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Have a basic understanding of school building operations
  • Must possess strong computer skills; word processing, spreadsheets, email, etc.
  • Operate office equipment; fax, copier, multi-line phone, etc.
  • Attend in-service and seminars to enhance job performance
  • Maintain a professional, approachable, personality under stressful situations
  • Use proper phone etiquette while managing a multi-line phone system and performing multiple tasks
  • Perform Lunch & Recess Monitor duties when needed
  • Monitor student(s) individually, in small or large groups in a variety of circumstances relating to the school environment
  • Provide leadership by enforcing pupil behavior set forth by the building principal.
  • Ensure that students are in a safe, secure environment at all times.
  • Employ a variety of strategies to manage student behavior and conflict.
  • Perform all other duties consistent with the general job description as assigned by the Building Administrators, Superintendent, or designee 


Requirements: (Documents must be on file before starting) 

  1.  Current favorable BCII (State) and FBI (Federal) background checks
  2. Valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit with ESEA endorsement
  3. Rapback Enrollment through the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce
  4. Ohio Auditor of State Fraud Reporting and Training
  5. Negative drug screen result

Clerical Skills, Word Processing, Data Entry, Written/Verbal Communication, Customer Service

Subject to all applicable laws, essential job functions of this position include the employee being punctual and capable of completing all of the duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
