Assist the Director of Academic Technology by sharing institutional knowledge to aid in the transition of responsibilities related to running the department including budget assistance, vendor relations, software license management, updates and support of AT online resources (e.g. Canvas, Canvas Credentials, YuJa, Freshservice, AT support website and others), and with special projects, such as researching AI and other new technologies.

40 % of Time:  Assist the Director of Academic Technology with budget process, purchasing and software license management, including the use of Workday.

• Answer questions about procedures and past practices on an ad hoc basis

• Maintain records of previous vendor correspondences and other information pertaining to above

• Renewal of all software licenses and contracts for FY25

• Contact vendors for quotes and invoices as needed

• Assist AT Director with process for above in Workday

40 % of Time:  Update AT online support resources

• Update and create new training materials and design of ecacadtech.net support website and Freshservice Solutions

• Provide additional administration and support of YuJa

• Provide additional administration and support for Canvas Credentials

20 % of Time:  Research and learn new AI applications

• Take LinkedIn Learning and other online courses in AI

• Research new AI applications as they become available

• Report findings and make suggestions and training materials for AI apps for academic use

Knowledge of Endicott technology applications and resources, including Workday, Canvas, Canvas Credentials, YuJa, AT support website, AI applications and others. Knowledge of budgeting and purchasing process, as well as academic software license management.
