About the role
As an Reality Labs (RL) Accountant, you won’t just crunch numbers—you’ll be a strategic partner in a deadline-focused, high-growth environment where your insights and expertise directly influence the success of cutting-edge products. You’ll collaborate with engineers, finance professionals, and business leaders to design and implement automated, AI-driven accounting solutions that set industry standards.
Responsibilities
Manage global end-to-end accounting processes and controls with a particular focus on revenue and fulfillment accounting
* Partner with engineering and other cross-functional teams to implement industry-leading, automated accounting solutions (including AI integrations)
* Partner with Finance, Operations, and Business Development teams to understand emerging business practices and provide accounting support for new initiatives
* Own month-end close procedures, including subledger management, journal entry and reconciliation review, and other duties as necessary
* Provide well presented analytical insights that concisely tell the RL story through the preparation of quarterly and ad hoc reporting packages to management
* Fulfill internal and external audit requests
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline or equivalent relevant experience
* 4+ years of experience in accounting or finance
* CPA or equivalent qualification
* Experience with U.S. GAAP and Internal Controls
* Experience in the Tech industry or similar high-growth/deadline-focused environment
* Proven experience to improve business processes and systems
* Highly collaborative temperament and proven communication skills
* Experience of consistently working under your own initiative with demonstrated attention to detail and possesses an understanding of the "big picture"
* Demonstrated experience operating with a high degree of autonomy Manufacturing, consumer electronics, cost or fulfillment accounting experience
* Public Accounting Experience
* Experience partnering with Operations and Financial Planning Partners
* Experience with Data Management, AI Solutioning or SQL
* Experience leveraging BPO resources effectively
* Experience with Oracle Financials and Hyperion
