What You Will Do:
The F135 Engine Design and System Integration (EDSI) organization is seeking a Depot Support Integration Lead (Phase 5) to coordinate engineering and sustainment activities that ensure effective depot-level maintenance, repair, and overhaul integration for the F135 propulsion system.
This role supports Production and Field Support organization by driving technical coordination between Engineering, Sustainment, and Depot operations to ensure that engineering intent, configuration integrity, and fleet readiness are maintained throughout the sustainment lifecycle.
The successful candidate will interface across internal and external partners—including CIPTs, Sustainment Engineering, Depot Operations, Field Support, and the Joint Program Office (JPO)—to ensure seamless alignment between production, depot repair, and field sustainment activities.
- Lead the integration of engineering and depot sustainment activities to ensure alignment with fleet readiness and production objectives.
- Coordinate technical issue identification, resolution, and data-driven root cause investigations at depot facilities.
- Support adjudication of Stop Delivery Orders, Maintenance-Repair-Overhaul Deviation Request (MDRs), and other depot-level technical issues.
- Provide systems-level oversight of depot-level engineering changes, ensuring design intent and configuration management compliance.
- Develop and manage processes for technical data integration between depot systems and engineering databases.
- Provide systems engineering support to the Engine Life Management Team and Customer Support Engineers at Tinker Air Force Base and other facilities in the F135 Depot network
- Support field performance analytics and drive corrective actions that improve depot efficiency and fleet reliability.
- Collaborate with sustainment and engineering leadership to define process improvements, standard work and digital tool integration strategies.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineering staff supporting depot operations.
- Support Engineering Investigations and final report review.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field with 10+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 7+ years of experience.
- Experience in aerospace sustainment, depot maintenance, or systems integration.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional technical teams and manage complex technical issues.
- U.S. Citizenship required due to government program access.
- 10% travel anticipated.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience supporting the F135 program or equivalent military engine programs.
- Familiarity with F135 data systems, depot maintenance systems, or sustainment digital tools.
- Proven technical leadership and project management experience.
