Registered Nurse-Hourly

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full- Time Endoscopy Registered Nurse to join our team at our Metairie location. This position is ideal for an RN who enjoys working in a fast-paced outpatient environment and is committed to providing excellent patient care.

 

Position: Full-time Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: 4228 Houma Blvd, Suite 520

                   Metairie, La 70006

Schedule: Full-time Monday - Friday 6:45am - 3:15pm

Start Date: ASAP

Job Responsibilities (Admit and Recovery)

• Provide patients for endoscopic procedures and provide pre-op education
• Monitor patients during recovery 
• Start IVs, administer medications, and document patient care accurately
• Provide post-procedure discharge instructions and patient education
• Maintain patient safety and follow infection control guidelines
• Ensure accurate documentation in accordance with clinical standards 
• Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures

 

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana, no restrictions
• One (1) year of nursing experience
• ACLS/BLS required
• Strong ethical and moral character references
• Basic computer skills 
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, organized, and patient - centered
