About the role

Job Description

The Collection Coordinator Assistant is responsible for supporting the coordinator during the design of the RTW capsule collection and accessories.

The main objectives are:

1) to support the coordinator in guaranteeing the completeness and respect of the brand identity in stylistic terms

2) to operationally organize the design support materials (colour research, images, tableaux preparation, fabric cataloguing, accessories)

3) to respect the collection planning

Qualifications

1.01 Collaborates with the co-ordinator and PM in guaranteeing compliance with the Brand's identity and Mission. 
1.02 Contributes together with the coordinator and PM in overseeing the collection in terms of product completeness, raw materials, colours, wearability. 
1.03 Supports the coordinator during the creative design of the  capsule collection RTW with internal/external designers and artist and design and development od accessories. interacting with them in the choice of materials, models to be developed in the collection. 
1.04 Actively participates during the prototype and sample definition phase, supporting the coordinator. 
1.05 Independently manages one or more collection projects or specific research projects within the timeframe and in the manner indicated by the coordinator/PM, liaising with them as the project progresses. 
1.06 Supports the coordinator in design-related activities (explaining prototypes, researching materials, graphic support), coordinating with the other assistants involved and respecting the schedule received. 
1.07 Collaborates with the rest of the team on more operational design activities according to the needs of the office. 
1.08 Supports the coordinator in ensuring constant integration with the offices closely linked to the design activities (Technical Department - Pattern Makers - Visual Office-Communication etc.) 
1.09 Keeps abreast of and succeeds in making an effective contribution in terms of product research proposed by the brand's competitors and on the basis of new consumer needs 

Additional Information

Education & Experience

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, Accessories Design, or an equivalent academic qualification.

  • Professional Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven experience in similar roles (e.g., design Office Assistant, Junior Product Developer, Collection coordinator assistant) with Luxury or Contemporary brands.

Hard Skills & Technical Expertise

  • Design & Graphics: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). 

  • Technical Knowledge: accessory construction  (specifically Leather/woven Goods), including strong knowledge of materials, hardware, Graphic/print and  embellishment  manufacturing processes.

Soft Skills & Mindset

  • Organization : Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while strictly adhering to deadlines.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of bridging the gap between creative teams and technical departments.

Languages:

  • Fluent italian (written and spoken)

  • Fluent English (written and spoken) is important, to effectively manage international collaborations and suppliers.
