Abound Health, a provider of home and community services for adults with intellectual disabilities is seeking dedicated Caregivers to provide services in Boonton, NJ, and surrounding areas. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide support to an adult female in her 30s with multiple disabilities. The caregiver will assist in daily activities and provide personalized care in the comfort of her home, located in Morris County, where she lives with her family. . She is very active and leads a full life that includes daily volunteering, socializing, and routine tasks to maintain her health and safety as well as her enjoyment in and out of her home. She is creative, energetic, enthusiastic and has quick wit. She loves to sing, listen to music, go shopping, and remain active. Flexible full-time and part-time opportunities are available

Responsibilities include:

• Build a trusting relationship by assisting her with all areas of daily living including all personal care needs, meal planning and preparation, household needs, and community activities to enhance her quality of life.
• Assist with medication as organized by the family.
• Assist her in remaining healthy and active in her community by providing transportation to medical and other appointments and outings.
• Provide a level of physical assistance with her mobility.
• Follow her schedule of activities and care needs as set by her and her family.
• Follow documentation and progress reports as maintained

Skills:

• Strong caregiving skills with a focus on empathy and patience
• Ability to administer medications accurately
• Competence in assisting with ADLs for individuals with varying needs

Experience:

• LPN experience preferred
• Caregiving: 1-2 years (Preferred), not required

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and your own reliable vehicle with proof of insurance
• Ability to drive for individual transportation to and from home or on community outings

Job Types Available:

• Full-Time

Schedule: Mon 9a.5p, Tues 9a to 5p, Wed 9a-9p, Thurs 9a-5p, Fri 9a-6p, and Sat 11a-6p for 52 hours a week.

Pay: Starting at $20 per hour

*$1000 Signing Bonus Details

• $333 paid out after working 90 days with an average of 20 hours per week
• $333 paid out after working 6 months (180 days) with an average of 20 hours per week
• $334 paid out after working 1 year (365 days) with an average of 20 hours per week
• Applicant cannot have been employed by Abound Health (or any of our newly acquired companies) in the past 18 months
• Signing bonus not applicable for Residential Services
• Employees hired as Relative as Providers (RAPs) are not eligible for the Signing Bonus
