Medical Biller

We are looking for a Full Time Medical Biller to join our team.

Job Duties Include:

• Preparing patients billing statements and ensuring that they are sent to them in a timely manner
• Reviewing patients billing statements to ensure accuracy of information
• Assisting in evaluating patients financial status and devising payment plans
• Following up on delinquent accounts and ensuring payments where possible
• Performing collection actions by calling patients
• Submitting claims and resubmitting denied claims
• Preparing daily deposit activities
• Preparing reports and performing analysis of billing documents
• Verifying patients insurance coverage
• Performing appeals on denied claims
• Managing accounts receivable reports
• Using a variety of medical billing software to post charges
• Verifying billing information posted
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Familiar with HMO insurances

Experience:

• Medical collections experience (Preferred)
• Physical Therapy billing experience (Preferred)

Pay Range:

• $23.00 to $26.00 per Hour

*Higher compensation may be available for someone with advanced skills and/or experience
