Please Note: This position will include supporting our US Federal customers.
This position requires passing a ServiceNow background screening, USFedPASS (US Federal Personnel Authorization Screening Standards). This includes a credit check, criminal/misdemeanor check and taking a drug test.
Any employment is contingent upon passing the screening. Due to Federal requirements, only US citizens, US naturalized citizens or US Permanent Residents, holding a green card, will be considered.
What you get to do in this role:
Assess security risk and impact of issues pertaining to ServiceNow
System Scanning and Vulnerability Management
Partner with stakeholders to provide triage and remediation recommendations
Partner with compliance teams to ensure appropriate level of risk management
Assessing Security Risks: Evaluating the security risk and impact of issues related to system scanning and vulnerability management
Coordinating various workstreams impacting the program and reducing risk
Solving complex problems and identifying gaps between teams, processes, and systems
Clearly communicating progress and outcomes, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
MUST HAVE Proficiency in Scripting languages (Java, JavaScript, Python)
3+ years exp Linux Admin & Puppet/Chef or related technologies
5+ years in Vulnerability Management in Enterprise Cloud Systems
3+ experience with Vulnerability Management Scanning Tools
(e.g., Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, Wiz, etc.)
Understanding and experience with Federal, PCI Compliance and Security Frameworks
Familiarity with Container Solutions (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
3 years experience with Infrastructure, Cloud, and Risk Assessment
Strong understanding of Systems and Network Engineering
Deep understanding of Network Communications (OSI model)
An analytical mind for problem solving, abstract thought, and defensive security tactics
Stakeholder Mangement & strong interpersonal skills (written and oral communication)
Experience with remote collaboration
Ability to articulate complex issues to executives and customers
Familiarity with ServiceNow Platform and Agile Methodologies
Adaptable to evolving situations.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
