H&H Design Engineer - Water Resources | Environmental

PRIME AE Group, Inc. (www.primeeng.com), a multi-faceted and rapidly growing architectural and engineering firm with 19 office locations and over 475+ employees throughout the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast and Northeast areas, is seeking an H&H Design Engineer to join the existing Water-Resources | Environmental Team at our Corporate office in Baltimore.

Position Overview:  

As an H&H Design Engineer, you will serve on the design team for key water and environmental projects to include NPDES permitting, water quality analyses and studies, regulatory compliance, water and wastewater system studies/reports and associated design of improvements.  

Typical Projects Include:

• Stormwater management structures design
• Green infrastructure design
• Stormwater management structure inspections
• Roadway design for stormwater
• Site layout and grading
• Permitting for SWM designs
• Stream design
• MS4 requirements for SWM
• Hydraulics and Hydrology

Key Responsibilities:

• Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases of projects.
• Revises drawings and completes standard calculations used in the completion of engineering plans. 
• Assesses (or assists with assessing, depending on experience) the feasibility and soundness/validity of proposed engineering evaluations, when necessary data is insufficient.
• Ensures proper quality control procedures are implemented on all projects.

Minimum Requirements:  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• EI or PE preferred
• Experience with AutoCAD to complete design projects.
• Self-motivated critical thinker that is willing to work both collaboratively and independently.
