Licensed Clinical Psychologist (67413)

We are seeking a full-time Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Joliet Inpatient Treatment Center located in Joliet, Illinois, just 30 miles southwest of Chicago.

JITC is a specialized mental health correctional facility operated by the Illinois Department of Corrections. It offers the most intensive levels of psychiatric and medical care for adult male and female inmates with serious mental illness or long-term medical needs. Designed by HOK in collaboration with ILDOC, this facility features “therapeutic justice design” integrating therapeutic design principles with security, promoting healing while maintain safety.

The Clinical Psychologist provides psychological leadership, consultation, and direct services for patients in an assigned facility. The Psychologist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in providing assessment and treatment of mental and emotional disorders of patients.

Joliet, Illinois located 30 miles southwest of Chicago, offers easy access via Metra and Amtrak, with the Modern Gateway Center serving as a multimodal transit hub for rail and bus service. • Must hold PsyD or PhD from a US APA accredited university program.
• Must have successfully completed post-doc requirements.
• Licensed in Illinois as a Clinical Psychologist
• Supervisory experience required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Must be able to pass credentialing and background check.
• Prior locked unit experience is highly desired. 
• Work legally in the United States without sponsorship.

Available Shift

• Full-time working five 8-hour shifts per week
• Day Shift
• No nights, holidays, weekends

Salary of $150,000 per year after successful completion of six-month introductory period.
