Heavy Duty Forklift Operator

Summary: A heavy equipment operator is responsible for moving material throughout the facility and maintaining the flow of material to and from the assigned business. Operators are responsible for inspecting equipment before and after usage. All equipment operators must always follow company safety guidelines

Job Duties:

• Operate large forklifts moving drill pipe materials throughout the facility.
• Follow standard operating procedures
• Maintain material flow of production line(s) safely.
• Stage material for the next operation; will require picking up large pieces of material frequently throughout the scheduled shift.
• Make real-time material movement transactions in the database.
• Perform daily inspections of equipment.
• Must perform duties with minimal supervision
• Must be able to comprehend written and verbal instructions.
• Loading and Unloading trucks 

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience operating heavy equipment preferred
• Must be able to work either day or night shifts depending on need
• Small Forklift experience is a bonus
• Basic Computer skills
• Must have a valid drivers license
