Logistics:
This position is full time (40 hours/week) Monday-Friday, typical work hours 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, work from home Richland County, SC or Lexington County, SC.
What You Will Do:
Produces health/dental benefit books using customer software. Document production includes research of group files, customization of benefit language, correction of group documents, editing revisions, proofing of documents, coordination with marketing, underwriting, quality control, benefit files to ensure appropriate group structure, status, and benefits.

Document production includes research of group files, customization of benefit language, correction of group documents, editing revisions, proofing of document, coordination with marketing, underwriting, quality control, benefit files, legal to ensure appropriate group structure, status, and benefits.
Ensures all group/member level distribution procedures/systems are accessed and utilized in accurate/timely manner to include imaging of documents, web migration of books, maintaining updates to workload tracking database (Access), sending product to print, and overall follow-up and follow-through.
Performs various duties/responsibilities as assigned to include responding to all inquiries pertaining to a group's book and/or contract, and special projects as assigned.
To Qualify for This Position, You Will Need:
Required Education: Associate's Degree OR Two (2) years of benefits related work experience.
Required Work Experience: 3 years of administrative/clerical support, customer service, or combination of this experience
Required Skills and Abilities: Good judgment skills. Effective customer service, organizational skills. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated proficiency in spelling, punctuation, grammar skills. Analytical or critical thinking skills. Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
Required Software and Tools: Microsoft Office.
We Prefer That You Have:
Preferred Work Experience: One (1) year-of membership, billing, or accounts experience.
Preferred Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of database software.
Preferred Software and Other Tools: Working knowledge of Microsoft access or other database software.
