Sr. Mechanical Reliability Engineer

Job Description

Fantastic opportunity to join Stepan Company as a Senior Reliability Engineer in coastal Wilmington, NC. In this role, you will report to the Maintenance/Reliability leader providing advanced knowledge & technical expertise to deploy continuous improvement in process & asset reliability.  If you are a solid reliability engineer with interest collaborating with other site leaders in process engineering, project management, & continuous improvement please apply. You will contribute to deliver the optimization of equipment to include installation, preventative maintenance, & equipment troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy complex reliability excellence activities and identify and prioritize reliability engineering value creation
• Ensure the implementation of the strategic development of asset reliability centered maintenance applications
• Perform technical reviews of complex projects and collaborate cross functionally with site leadership on new equipment reliability specifications
• Execute the identification and elimination of bad actors and the optimization of equipment availability
• Participate in the development, design and installation of predictive maintenance programs and technology applications to identify and eliminate defects

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience in a manufacturing setting required
• Proven knowledge in the application of reliability tools
• Knowledge in maintenance & continuous improvement management

Education

• Mechanical or Chemical engineering or Electrical Bachelor of Science required

Pay range: $90-$120K
