Responsibilities

Responsible for the marketing and public relations strategy for various product lines. Assists the marketing manager and director regarding physician practice marketing initiatives.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works directly with several managers of secondary product lines in the development of marketing strategies to achieve yearly goals.
  • Assists with community outreach activities.
  • Hospital’s primary editor for Lifetime of Care magazine. Responsible for content of quarterly external publication meeting deadlines, budget and 380,000 distribution.
  • Coordinates and implements activities related to community and corporate sponsorships.
  • Oversees physician practice project timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinates special projects utilizing internal and external marketing agencies.
  • Coordinates all external marketing vendor payments/invoicing for the “system”.
  • Works with the Hospital’s advertising agency of record in coordinating projects.
  • Helps determine appropriateness of content and format for external hospital communications.
  • Responsible for daily administrative duties such as proofing copies, approving print bids and purchase requisitions.
  • Responsible for conducting occasional research.
  • Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Immediately reports any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or employee/patient/visitor injury-accident to Manager.
  • Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

  • B.S. degree in Marketing and/or Advertising.
  • Minimum of one year's experience in and advertising agency or marketing department.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in project management, marketing tactics and advertising.
  • Good organizational as well as excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • PREFERRED:

  • Health care experience a plus.
  • Work Hours:

    9AM-5PM
