Job Description:

Emerging Technology Solutions Architect

Keep GDIT at the forefront of emerging technology that will impact and benefit our customers’ missions. Help infuse emerging technology into the successful delivery of our growth strategies and pursuits.

HOW AN EMERGING TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Conduct research and horizon scanning across the emerging technology landscape to find strategic intersections and opportunities in GDIT markets
• Monitor, assess, and synthesize trends from a variety of sources to inform strategy and drive actionable innovation opportunities
• Develop technology market analysis and provide thought leadership to shape client discussions and build organizational awareness and readiness in emerging technology areas
• Maintain a strong understanding of the operational, regulatory, procurement, and competitive environments of federal agencies
• Build relationships with emerging technology providers and introduce them to GDIT growth and delivery leaders
• Work with senior leaders to understand, adopt, and compete in emerging technology domains
• Collaborate with GDIT teams to introduce and help integrate emerging technologies into growth strategies and pursuits, current customer contracts, and portfolio of technology offerings in alignment with customer missions and technical requirements
• Represent GDIT at industry and customer events and in marketing and media.
• Work within an Emerging Tech team engaged across GDIT’s business development and program portfolios

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Required Experience: 15+ years of experience in Information Technology, Consulting, or related field.
• Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI) or other disruptive technology identification and assessment, architecture definition, solution development, and/or implementation to generate mission impact
  • Maintain a broad understanding of the emerging technology landscape (e.g., AI, cybersecurity, edge deployments, advanced wireless, space systems, autonomy), including key trends and the intersection of these trends with GDIT customer use cases
  • Experience engaging with senior technologists and business leaders
  • Ability to cultivate and sustain relationships with Venture Capital (VC), startups/technology vendors, and other emerging tech ecosystem participants
  • Ability to develop tech-focused market maps and insights to guide cultivation efforts, inform GDIT strategies, and drive technology integration into GDIT accelerators and solutions
  • Ability to possess Secret or higher Clearance

The likely salary range for this position is $195,500 - $264,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
