Job Description:
This job is responsible for managing large projects for an operations department or Line of Business. Key responsibilities include directing the research of existing operations, procedures, workflow, product, and service requirements and managing the analysis of assembled data to define problems, including cost/benefit analysis and scope of the project. Job expectations include overseeing end-to-end project status, project health, mitigation, and timely escalation and working directly with senior management to set and maintain strategic project direction.

Responsibilities include oversight of Business Banking’s intake of initiatives leveraging the Capacity and Sequencing Tool (CAST), including but not limited to:

  • Manages and leads the execution of multiple and often competing priorities to meet deadlines and adhere with policies and procedures

  • Establishes project status routines and tracks critical path deadlines and overall business measures for success

  • Strong collaboration amongst multiple lines of business to successfully assess and resource initiatives impacting the organization

  • Strategic focus ensuring proper alignment with organizational goals including but not limited to preparing materials for and leading governance routines and meeting recap minutes.

  • Ensures appropriate risk rigor is documented for initiatives submitted via CAST

  • Provides necessary reporting on intake and resources for initiatives submitted via CAST

  • Integration with other CAST/Governance Routines owned by other lines of business

  • Identify opportunities for streamlining the intake and governance process based on lessons learned and best practices

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in intake and governance, business control or project management related processes

  • Familiarity with compliance, regulatory standards and risk management practices and/or products within Business Banking

  • Ability to think creatively and identify solutions while balancing business priorities - Detail oriented and possesses excellent analytical and organizational skills –

  • Capable of working with multiple partners and effectively interact within a team environment while achieving individual goals –

  • Excellent written and verbal presentation and communication skills - Proficient in MS Excel (e.g., vlookups, pivot tables, macros), Word, PowerPoint, CAST, and SharePoint

  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude
