Production Planning Specialist

Lavipharm is seeking a Production Planning Specialist who will be responsible for performing all necessary actions for the production and packaging planning of the products fully corresponding to the required standards of quality, safety and efficiency, as well as maintaining optimum levels of inventories.

Responsibilities

1. Production Planning and Scheduling

•Assists and supports the finalization of the weekly production and packaging plan

•Prepares the demand plan of finished products, supplied from 3rd parties and CMOs

•Monitors and reports on important discrepancies in sales forecasts and budgets

2. Material and Inventory Management

•Introduces new and updates the existing formulas (BOM) of semi-finished and finished products

•Secures optimum levels of inventories for raw and packaging materials, as well as finished products

•Calculates required quantities of raw and packaging materials based on forecasts or firmed orders

•Sends through the system requests of supply of raw and packaging materials to the procurement department

•Communicates on a monthly basis the list of materials to the Quality Control department for the confirmation of expiration or life extension, based on the certificates of the material

3. Reporting and Continuous Improvement

•Extracts all the necessary information and auxiliary files/reports needed and prepares department’s KPIs, on a monthly basis

•Contributes to the optimization of department functions and generates suggestions

Requirements

Education:

·  Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in Business or Engineering

Experience:

·  3-4 years of experience in a Production related field

Skills:

·     Excellent Knowledge of the English language

·     Computer literacy
