A Day in the Life:

Responsible for Event Marketing Department overall planning, strategy, execution and evaluation of events that align with the company's marketing objectives, including activations, assets, budgeting, and developing a department culture.

The Impact You'll Make:

  • Strategic planning, leading event teams, and overseeing the execution of all event aspects to align with organizational goals. Working directly with Marketing groups and Sales Teams on contracted partnerships.
  • Oversee and manage budgets, including tracking expenses, labor costs, and ensuring events stay within budget parameters. Ensure funds are spent in the most effective manner to grow the business.
  • Implement and oversee onboarding, training and coaching for all event staff. Work with leadership to strategically forecast activation plans. Lead research and design promotional assets.
  • Ensure equipment stays current with industry standards and pursue new innovative technology.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to plan, communicate and collaborate on activation strategy.
  • Keep abreast and report on activation products, innovation, market conditions, competitive advantages and trends.
  • Develop value-added relationships with brand partners, vendors, promoters and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Oversee and guide a team of event professionals, coaching, mentoring, and developing high performing crew.
  • Ensure department’s compliance with HR policies and State Labor Laws.
  • Additional duties as assigned

Who You Are:

  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Business Administration and Marketing or related field of study
  • More than 10 years of experience in organizing events, events management and marketing management
  • More than 7 years of experience in public relations, project management, budgeting and team leadership

Monster Energy provides a competitive total compensation; this position has an annual estimated salary of $150,000 - $177,000. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
