Position Summary

The Sales Executive will be responsible for managing all activity at GP Brunswick. This is a field sales role, focusing on growing revenues of an account(s) within a region. Need this role asap to replace a rep that is not performing. A new SE is needed to prevent attrition

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Play an “optimizer” role: pursue profitable sales opportunities at existing accounts
  • Responsible for Horizontal Growth and maximizing profitability at the existing account)
  • Manage and grow the business relationship with customer counterparts
  • Ensure retention (i.e. attrition prevention) of existing business at the account
  • Own the P & L and maintain/grow profitability at each account – execute price increases, profit improvement (e.g., product substitution, product rationalization, etc.), ensure proper resourcing
  • Increase sales through relationship building and product knowledge
  • Champion Buckman and customers safety culture/policies
  • Generates Continuous Improvement Initiatives for Buckman and customers
  • Using subject matter expertise to troubleshoot and problem solve
  • Results driven decision making while maintaining Buckman values
  • Use sales tools to maintain accurate and up-to-date account information
  • Submit required reports in a timely manner
  • Continuing education and self-training by taking advantage of training opportunities

Essential Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university
  • Pulp & Paper, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Biology Degree preferred
  • 5+ years related experience and/or training in pulp, paper, and water treatment
  • Specific training in pulp/paper science or packaging desired
  • Demonstrated understanding of business/finance terminology desirable
