O&M SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

<p>Accountability Statements</p><p></p><p>The role holder will be responsible for the following tasks:</p><ul><li>Ensure the O&amp;M requirements are delivered with a strong emphasis on health, safety, quality and environmental compliance</li><li>Execution of O&amp;M Major Projects ensuring these are delivered on time, budget and quality following industry best practice and observing the maximum respect for Health, Safety and the Environment to ensure regulatory and legal compliance while minimizing production losses. The nature of the projects will be wide and varied, inclusive of; construction handover, snagging projects, warranty claim driven OEM remediation projects, oversight of in warranty WTG OEM driven main component replacement projects, major intensive multi week offshore subsea projects, end of warranty process, OFTO snagging or handover projects, regulation-change driven projects, site wide asset remediation projects, site alignment and improvement projects and digital integration projects.</li><li>Management of interfaces with internal and external key stakeholders for the efficient delivery of O&amp;M Major Projects</li><li>Development and delivery of new procedures and processes as required with the aim to standardize the management of O&amp;M Major Projects.</li><li>Assist in the development of O&amp;M Strategies on how to manage O&amp;M Major Projects</li><li>Gather operational lessons learnt from O&amp;M Major Projects and implement where appropriate to ensure continuous improvement within offshore operations and maintenance</li><li>Develop highly detailed contingency plans for major failures within the O&amp;M phase containing; stakeholders, required support contracts, technical documentation share, project structure, additional internal support, prioritisation matrix, required site-based support, national compliance and specific procedures.</li></ul><p></p><p>Skills, Knowledge &amp; Experience</p><ul><li>A degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline or similar</li><li>Experience on renewables / power generation industry required</li><li>Computer literacy, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office components especially Excel, PowerPoint, Project, PowerBI, SharePoint and database packages as well as an ability to deal with new software as required</li><li>Effective written and oral communication as well as interpersonal skills</li><li>Developed report writing, presentation skills and ability to summarize a parameters and drivers impacting the scope of works</li><li>Ability to look forward and see/ anticipate problems</li><li>Results and problem solving oriented, with analytical, communication and teamwork / collaboration skills</li><li>Ability to be proactive and take responsibility for matters, while responding to competing business demands</li><li>Organisational skills to ensure all deliverables are fulfilled on time and of good quality</li><li>Ability to support the management of a scope of works which require interface and coordination</li></ul><p></p><p>Planning &amp; Organising</p><p></p><ul><li>Ability to work effectively across different range of locations whilst supporting the management of a broad range of contractors within a rapidly changing and high profile sector.</li><li>Identify efficiencies and improvements in processes, procedures, estimation strategies, and resources to ensure the operational excellence is achieved.</li><li>Responsible for cooperating in the development of scopes of works to support projects and departments in O&amp;M.</li></ul><p></p><p>Special Requirements </p><ul><li>Willing to travel within Germany and Europe on occasion necessitating overnight stays</li><li>Flexible approach to working hours to ensure the delivery of planned and unplanned activities</li><li>Cultural awareness</li><li>Foreign languages (Spanish, French)</li></ul><p></p><p>Criteria </p><ul><li>Degree in relevant engineering or similar</li><li>IT literate with the ability to operate MS Office systems and other IT based project management software.</li><li>Flexible to travel around Germany and overseas</li><li>Fluent in English</li><li>Positive attitude: proactive, team player, high integrity</li><li>Previous Project Management experience</li><li>Sound knowledge and/or experience of offshore sector</li><li>Sounds knowledge and/or experience of major corrective operations</li><li>GWO certificate</li><li>PM certification</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>Mobility Information</p><p>Please note that any applicant who is not a citizen of the country of the vacancy will be subject to compliance with the applicable immigration requirements to legally work in that country.</p><p></p><p>Job Posting End Date:</p>
