Mechatronic Automation Project Engineer - Engineering Department

We are currently looking for a Mechatronic Automation Project Engineer in the Engineering Department of Xanthi factory for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated processes and systems to optimize production and efficiency in our manufacturing facility. Join our team and contribute to the success of our production processes! 

 

Position: 

 As the Mechatronic Automation Project Engineer in the Engineering Department, you will:

• Develop and implement automation systems for tobacco processing and packaging equipment
• Design and program control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and motion control systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of automation systems and provide technical support and training for operators and maintenance staff
• Monitor project progress and work closely with vendors and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation project engineering, preferably in the tobacco industry
• Proven experience with PLC programming, HMI design, and motion control systems
• Very good knowledge (oral and written) of Greek and English languages
• Interpersonal Skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
