Finance & Treasury Accountant (INTERNAL ONLY)

Job Summary:

• Support Local Finance Team and Group Treasury

FINANCE
• Accounting activities in relation to accounts receivable.
• Accounting activities in relation to month end process.
• Monthly and quarterly P&L review and analysis with preparation of financial reports.
• Accurate financial reporting on a timely and efficient manner.
• Provide support as required during the budget process
• Statutory reporting.
• Adhering to internal audit requirements.
• Work closely with Country Operations Director and Finance Manager in relation to budgets and forecasts.
• Any other ad-hoc accounting activities as assigned by Country Operations Director and/or Finance Manager.

TREASURY
• Review of all Treasury postings, query investigation and resolution.
• Liaise with payments teams to ensure timely and complete banking and accounting transactions within SAP.
• Responsible for reconciliation of weekly/monthly bank statements on SAP Treasury tool.
• Responsible for weekly/monthly FX cashflow (forecast & actual) on Bellin treasury tool.
• Work closely with Group Treasury in relation to cashflows and currency exposure & hedging requirements - report monthly on Finance Department Key Performance Indicators
• You will be the primary contact with External Auditors in relation to the coordination of half-year /annual audits for FX.
• Maintain banking mandates/powers matrix.
• Evaluates processes and recommends & implements process improvements
• Implement the Group FX strategy to reduce overall Group risk.
• Any other ad-hoc treasury activities as assigned by Group Treasury, Country Operations Director and/or Finance Manager.

Essential ‘Technical’ Skills and Abilities:
• Previous industry experience working in a treasury function.
• Strong understanding and knowledge of SAP 4/Hana is essential.
• Strong project management experience and analytical skills.
• Strong communication, leadership, interpersonal, influencing and cross-functional teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle competing priorities.
• Track record of continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication, writing and facilitation skills.
• Excellent self-management skills
Essential Education and Qualifications:
• Third level education required, professional accountancy or treasury qualification very desirable.
• Previous industry experience working in a treasury function.

Physical Requirements of the Role and work flexibility
• Communication with third parties in different time zones.
