Program Support Lead

We have an opening for a full-time, permanent Program Support Lead to join our talented, dynamic team in support of a large Federal Government customer.

The Program Support Lead will play a pivotal role in our team's success on a large Federal Government SOC contract for the Department of Veteran's Affairs. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing various contract-related activities, ensuring seamless operations, and supporting the Program Manager in achieving project goals. This role requires a strong understanding of contract task order management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team of program analysts.

Duties

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Contract Management Support: Provide comprehensive support of the contract by coordinating and executing various contract management activities, including employee onboarding and offboarding, tracking of required VA trainings, and ensuring compliance with contract guidelines.

• Deliverable Tracking and Submission: Collaborate with internal teams to track project deliverables, ensure their timely completion, and facilitate their submission according to contract requirements.
• Contract Knowledge Management: Manage and maintain a repository of contract-related documents, templates, and reference materials. Ensure easy access and efficient knowledge sharing among team members.
• Program Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams working on the contract. Facilitate information flow, resolve issues, and promote a cohesive working environment.
• Program Status Reporting: Prepare regular program status reports, providing insights into project progress, key milestones, risks, and mitigations. Present reports to the Program Manager and stakeholders as needed.
• Team Leadership: Lead a team of program analysts responsible for supporting contract management activities. Provide guidance, mentorship, and oversight to ensure the team's success.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency enhancements, and best practices in contract management. Implement improvements to streamline workflows and increase overall project effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• Proven experience in contract task order management, preferably within Federal Government contracts.
• Strong understanding of contract compliance, deliverable tracking, and reporting requirements.
• Program and project management certifications are a plus (PMP, PgMP, CSM, CSPO, SP, SSM, etc.)
• Working knowledge of program/project management software (Microsoft Project, Jira, Microsoft 365/Teams applications, etc.)
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team of peers
