Alkami is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Contractor to support strategic initiatives during Summer 2025. This contract position is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in financial analysis, corporate benchmarking, and investor communications. The role will contribute directly to Alkami’s positioning in the SaaS industry through two high-impact projects focused on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Best Practices.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) & ESG Analysis
 

• Conduct a competitive analysis of CSR and ESG initiatives among comparable publicly traded SaaS companies.

• Benchmark Alkami’s current CSR/ESG efforts against industry standards.
   

• Develop a comprehensive internal memorandum for senior management with recommended next steps to align Alkami with best practices.
   

• Prepare an external-facing document that clearly communicates Alkami’s CSR and ESG policies and progress.
   

Best Practices in Investor-Facing Finance Communications
 

• Analyze investor materials and public-facing financial practices of peer SaaS companies.
   

• Identify key gaps and opportunities in Alkami’s current approach.
   

• Deliver a strategic presentation summarizing findings and proposing actionable recommendations to elevate Alkami’s investor communications to industry best-in-class.
   

Ad Hoc Projects (as needed)
 

• Support 2–3 additional research and analysis initiatives related to industry intelligence, financial benchmarking, or strategic planning.
  
   

Preferred Qualifications and Desired Skills: 

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors degree

• Strong analytical and research skills; experience with financial modeling and benchmarking preferred.

• Familiarity with ESG/CSR reporting frameworks (e.g., SASB, GRI, TCFD) is a plus.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases.

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization 

• Ability to manage multiple priorities
