Clerical Supervisor (High Mountain Primary Care - Wayne)

Responsible for the oversight of operational, financial, and service performance of assigned Physician Practice locations which have been identified as member practices for SJRMC. Assists with new practice start ups and integration with SJRMC's network. Helps coordinate and integrate processes between the practices and SJRMC's departments included but not limited to: set up of P/P, IT systems transition for practice staff, Human Resources, trainings, and purchasing. Maintains workflow and operations, ensuring prompt and accurate collection of patient demographic and insurance information. Participates in providing oversight of the practices' physician billing and in monitoring staff performance. Ensures excellent customer service, efficient patient flow, and effective communication with patients, physicians and other hospital departments.
Work requires a High School diploma or equivalent, some college desirable and three to five years of previous work related experience plus three to six months of on the job training and orientation. Work requires analytical ability, technical, computer literacy, managerial, mathematical and writing skills needed to supervise employees and resolve issues. Medical Coding certification (AAPC) preferred.
