What you’ll do at Jamf:

 

The Senior Manager, Global Payroll will provide the vision and strategic direction for delivery of global payroll processes and systems. This role will lead a team in managing daily operations of the global payroll function, working with external payroll providers ensuring all payments made to our employees are accurate, timely and in accordance with the respective-country tax regulations. The Senior Manager, Global Payroll is responsible for cross-collaborative efforts to improve and enhance current payroll processes, holding vendors accountable to strict standards, and delivering operating efficiency improvements through best practices in standardization and automation.  The Senior Manager will lead, coach and manage a high performing team, as well as building and maintaining partnerships with external vendors and internal partners (HR, Finance, Tax, Legal) to support the work.  The Senior Manager will ensure that the team has well established process, policy and procedures that are documented and support organizational compliance efforts (SOX, SOC2, ISO, etc.).

 

This role is remote in Poland only. We are only able to accept applications for those based in Poland or have sponsorship to live and work in Poland.

 

What you can expect to do in this role:

 

  • Leadership and Management:
    • Lead and manage the global payroll team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities
    • Ensure that payroll operations are carried out efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Process Management and Improvement:
    • Develop, implement, and continuously improve global payroll processes and systems to ensure efficiency and compliance
    • Standardize payroll processes across international locations to ensure consistency and reliability
    • Engage with internal and external partners to develop, test and deploy key integrations of HR and labor data feeds into the payroll processes
  • Service Delivery:
    • Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing 
    • Address and resolve payroll-related issues and inquiries promptly and professionally
    • Partner with Treasury and Finance to ensure funds are in place to support payroll disbursements and employees payments are issued without delay
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Stay updated on international payroll laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and minimize risk
    • Conduct regular audits and reviews of payroll processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Implementation and Project Management:
    • Lead and manage payroll implementations for new international locations
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and IT, to ensure successful payroll system implementations and integrations
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and regulatory authorities
    • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on payroll operations and performance

 

What are we looking for:

 

  • 8+ years payroll experience in a global environment. Exposure to several payroll systems and processes, including in-house and integration with third party vendors (required)
  • 5+ years leadership experience in payroll (required)
  • Experience with Workday, ADP (Streamline and Celergo), or other payroll processing / HRIS systems, including in-house and integration with third party vendors (required)
  • Fluent communication in English (required)
  • Deadline focused; excellent understanding of payroll systems, data workflows, and root cause analysis
  • Highly analytical and excellent problem-solving skills with working knowledge of general payroll protocols, accounting principles and Federal and State regulations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, exceptional customer service and project management
