Our agency is looking to fill a full-time, permanent Office Assistant (OA3) vacancy within the Community Corrections Division. This position works for the Spokane Interstate Unit located at 12406 E Desmet Ave, Spokane Valley, WA 99216.
Under general supervision from the Administrative Assistant 4 (AA4), this position performs file management and routine, advanced clerical support tasks for the unit. Working independently, you will perform a variety of complex clerical projects and assignment and perform duties involved with working at the reception desk. Work hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Examples of duties
Manage and maintain electronic and physical files.- Database entry and retrieval from various systems, such as OMNI (Offender Management Network Information) and OnBase.
- Create, manage, and archive DOC field files.
- Ensure the public office doors are opened at 8:00 am and closed at 5:00 pm.
- Greet and direct clients, general public, and/or stakeholders to the appropriate staff.
- Manage a multi-line phone system.
- Deliver mail to the Broadway Administration building.
- Receive and distribute reports.
- Order office supplies.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Six months of clerical experience with a basic knowledge of Microsoft Programs to include Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- And must possess and maintain an unrestricted vehicle operator's license valid in the state of Washington.
