Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Clinical Information System Analyst II for our Clinical Information department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

As a Clinical Information System Analyst II, you will:
• Builds, tests, and verifies intermediate-level clinical systems and/or evaluates and validates intermediate-level Cerner solutions and processes as directed to support best practice.
• Identifies, evaluates, supports, and solves complex problems as necessary to support the needs of users. Maintains system and application functionality and addresses issues promptly.
• Manages and maintains projects with a degree of independence. Conducts user need analyses to establish requirements. May serve as lead on small to medium-sized projects
• Monitors assesses, and documents system infrastructure. Responds to small-scale technical issues with minimum supervision.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of system modules, informatics, technology, and software as it relates to improving related system modules and workflow in a healthcare setting.
• Provides specialized services to include design, training, development and documentation of knowledge articles and training materials. Maintains up-to-date documentation.
• Possesses in-depth knowledge of industry and clinical systems. Considers enterprise-wide solutions and impact. Research and train on new technologies as requested.
• Provide input on project planning, process improvements, and technical solutions.
• Provide guidance to colleagues and users.
• Performs other related duties as required

Qualifications include:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant major. • Experience may substitute for education on a year-to-year basis.
• 5-6 years of direct clinical or relevant business operations, clinical information systems, or related experience is required.
• Clinical licensure – preferred
Requires in-depth knowledge and experience of clinical information systems and Electronic Health Records. Experience in related areas of Cerner solutions.
• Uses best practices and knowledge of internal and/or external business issues to improve products and services.
• Supports all business entities for application-related issues on time
• Strong verbal and written skills in English, including communication skills that promote interpersonal relations and customer service. Ability to demonstrate professionalism in all interactions and activities.
• Participates in the design, build, implementation, testing, and maintenance of new and existing Cerner Millennium projects.
• Ability to create a work environment that promotes efficiency and productivity, satisfaction, growth and development, collaboration and teamwork.
• Must be able to perform all other tasks assigned by the Manager
• Participates in Go-lives, downtime, and support during non-business hours.
• Computer proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite applications, inter/intranet environment applications
• Additional PharmNet Integration Experience a Plus:
BD Pyxis, Rules, Charges, Interface experience, ePrescribe (ePCS), CCL & DA2,
Compounding, Carousel & Robotic

Pay Range:

$83,112.12 - $124,675.20

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount or if the position is Per Diem (offering a fixed rate), salary discussions will occur during the screening process.
