About the Role:

As a Mobile Software Developer, you will have a solid technical foundation and a strong focus on growing your skills. You will be able to independently deliver small to medium-sized, well-defined tasks to production. You will contribute to all aspects of the product development lifecycle, including advancing the understanding of functional needs, designing and documenting solutions, programming software solutions, and creating tools to optimize product deployment. You will consistently demonstrate an intermediate level of skill, with the continual pursuit of growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide analysis, design, programming, testing, and debugging for software applications with minimal assistance.
• Offer input on the feasibility of new products as initial requirements are being developed.
• Provide development estimates for new products being considered.
• Add new features or fix bugs in both your own code and that of other engineers.
• Ensure good software engineering practices and standards are followed during the software engineering process.
• Develop engineering documentation for programmed applications.
• Work with other software development staff, project management, and product management to facilitate product requirements.
• Coordinate the use of advanced software techniques and technologies using strong Software Engineering methodologies.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering and 2+ years of industry experience, or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Experience with Android/mobile development required.
• Strong knowledge of Software Engineering methodologies.
• Full Stack development experience with:
◦ AWS IaC (CDK), Lambdas, Step Functions (SNS, SQS)
◦ Python
◦ Javascript / Typescript
◦ React
◦ Django
◦ Databases
• Experience with REST preferred.
• Experience with scripting languages preferred.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and deductive reasoning skills.

Salary range for this role is $70,000 – $100,000 per year. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, experience, education, specialty, and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage. This position is also eligible for a variety of other benefits.
