Meyer Distributing is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor 2nd Shift to join our Kingman, AZ team!

The 2nd Shift Warehouse Supervisor will assist in the distribution operations including but not limited to; management and oversight of warehousing operations on our second shift.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High School graduate or equivalent preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• Previous supervisory and operational experience required.
• Prior automotive parts knowledge experience preferred.

2nd Shift Supervisor duties include but are not limited to:

• Manage all operational duties within the warehouse on 2nd shift, including picking and dispersing of product and load out of all trucks.
• Able to initiate, coordinate, and enforce program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Maintain physical condition of the warehouse.
• Responsible for ensuring a safe work environment.
• Maintain warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
• All other duties as assigned.

Schedule:

Sunday: 10am to 8pm

Monday through Thursday: 10am to 8pm

Saturday: 9am to 5pm (works every third Saturday)

Pay:

$21 to $25 per hour depending on experience

Requirements for 2nd Shift Warehouse Supervisor:

• Must have demonstrated leadership and operational skills.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to effectively communicate up and down the organizational structure.
• Must be pro-active and change/address issues before they become problems.
• Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities to meet deadlines and manage competing demands.
• Must be able to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and monitor warehouse operators to ensure quality and compliance.
• Must obtain forklift certification within three (3) months of being on the job.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of WMS software.
