The Senior Consultant, Business Program Management role will lead the overall communication strategy for the NF Shared Portfolio and Sales and New Business Portfolio. This role would be focused on driving alignment on messaging across the portfolio and driving execution of communication strategies, while creating and managing communication tactics in support of business outcomes. This critical resource would develop effective strategies to support the needs of the business and drive consistent messaging to impacted teams across NF.

Primary responsibilities would include:

  • Leads the design, development, production, distribution, and measurement of portfolio communications projects/events
  • Monitors and assesses all projects and pivotal initiatives and communicates status to senior leadership
  • Handles the interfaces between projects, acting as a liaison between project managers and business, to drive collaboration and coordination
  • Ensures and leads the communication to and incorporation of feedback from customers on proposed, developing and completed projects and initiatives
  • Develops and leads all aspects of the consultation of complex communication strategies and productions
  • Focus on driving alignment, promoting portfolio awareness, generating overall support for portfolio activities and the achievement of workstream objectives
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned

Individuals should possess a firm understanding of current NF business processes, display strong communication and relationship building skills, possess familiarity with standard project management practice and be well-versed in leading the design, development, and execution of communication strategies for large portfolios. Individuals should possess proven leadership skills with the ability to collaborate, remove roadblocks, and act as a primary liaison between project members and business to ensure collaboration and consistency across. Ability to articulate a vision and drive the team to successful and measurable results as well as to interact, influence and build positive relationships with top-level executives is required.

Individuals must possess knowledge and a strong background in work supporting Sales and New Business initiatives including Data Intelligence, Commissions, Digital efforts, Territory Management, New Business Automation and AIMS. 10 plus years in program/portfolio work is required.
 

Additional skillsets would include planning skills, decision-making skills, time management skills along with the ability to motivate others, recognize achievements and be that consultative voice to make it simple, and collaborative while driving results. Individuals should demonstrate organizational savvy and a storytelling ability to engage and get alignment from a wide range of audiences along with the ability to create an engaging environment where the team feels valued, appreciated, in a safe space and encouraged to do their best work every day.


This position will be hired on a SuccessFlex basis.

The hired associate must reside within 35 miles of the following location(s):

Columbus: One Nationwide Plaza, Columbus OH, 43215

Work schedule: 2 days in office, 3 days remote.

This role does not qualify for employer-sponsored work authorization. Nationwide does not participate in the Stem OPT Extension program.
