Your Responsibilities
As a Product Manager - License Sales & Management located in Urbandale, IA, you will:
- Defining and delivering products, services, and systems that meet customer and dealer needs by selecting the best possible approach.
- Bringing deep customer, dealer, and business process understanding to your partnership with engineering, customer support, marketing, etc. as you define and prioritize solutions.
- Analyzing specific problems and issues to find the best solutions, which could be technical or professional in nature.
- Validating that solution requirements meet customer (internal and external) needs.
- Define product direction to guide the development work of 1-2 scrum team(s).
- Product focus will be on the products such as our License tool in Operations Center where dealers and customers manage licensed technology products.

What Skills You Need
- Knowledge of systems and tools used to enable commerce with dealers and customers.
- Understanding of basic accounting concepts, such as revenue recognition.
- Understanding of policies, regulations, and legal frameworks associated with data collection, storage, and use.
- Prior product management experience with technology based products.
- Product marketing, ECAP, product management, project management, or similar experience.
- Understanding of agile development processes and methodologies
- Excellent verbal and writer communication with emphasis on persuasive communication, tact, and negotiation.
- Ability to analyze, define, and lead discussions to determine the business requirements and technical solutions.
- Action oriented to take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
- Knowledge of precision technologies, products, and solutions, along with sales and support strategies.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Knowledge of go to market strategies including licensing advanced software for precision technologies.
- Knowledge/experience with StellarSupport™ or subscriptions or software as a service systems.
- Knowledge/experience with Operations Center or Dealer Business System Technologies
- Demonstrated ability to leverage data and analytics to identify opportunities and solve problems.
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s University Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Engineering, Technology, Agricultural Sciences or Agribusiness
