Job Title: Project Controls Support

Location:  Work shall be conducted at the Hanford Field Office and the Hanford Site in Richland, WA. 

Citizenship: US citizenship required  

Salary:  $150,000.00 - $200,00.00 (exempt).  You will receive a competitive total rewards package that is applicable to the U.S. only. The salary range may vary based on years of applicable experience, skillset, education background/certifications and geographical location.

AttainX is seeking a professional Project Controls Support candidate to support the Department of Energy (DOE), Hanford Field Office (HFO) with general support services for the Tank Waste Operations (TWO) and Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant (WTP) project controls division.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• BS/BA (or AA, MS, MBA, PhD, etc.) degree
  • 8years of experience may be substituted for BS/BA degree 
• 10+ years of directly applicable successful experience consulting or contributing on complex projects, including providing strategic, management, technical or business assistance to significant projects or programs in a senior capacity and/or as a consultant
  • Preferred on the WTP capital project
• Experience with researching and navigating complex federal regulations

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES:

• Experience providing project controls and/or estimating support directly to HFO
• Comprehensive understanding of the Hanford Site mission, activities, and priorities
  • In-depth knowledge of DOE Hanford processes, procedures and the Bechtel National, Inc. (BNI) and Hanford Tank Waste Operations and Closure (H2C) contracts.
• Proficient in DOE’s program management practices, policies and procedures
• Proficient with project controls functions including scheduling and risk management
• Expert-level proficiency with Cobra and P6 scheduling software
• Familiarity with, or ability to quickly learn and utilize, various technology management tools used at Hanford
• Exceptional communication skills
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft 365

JOB DUTIES:

• Obtain and maintain required schedule inputs from WTP and Tank Waste Mission.
• Identify schedule constraints and assess their impact on the integrated project schedule.
  • Ensure alignment with overall schedule requirements.
• Monitor and report on driving paths, critical path activities, and overall schedule performance for the project.
• Provide Project Controls oversight for assigned capital projects in accordance with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
• Prepare and deliver monthly schedule and cost analyses, including financial summaries, to support project management decisions.
• Develop and communicate recommended corrective actions to project managers to recover cost and schedule variances and maintain alignment with the established baseline.
