Position Summary:
The Associate Director (AD), Project Management (QuartzBio) will be responsible for leading a team of project managers supporting delivery of QuartzBio SaaS Solutions. The AD will support project managers as they manage the project lifecycle with project timelines, communication flow, and deliverables. The AD will directly and indirectly help build client relationships, manages issues and escalations, and support proactive risk mitigation for the portfolio.
Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:
- Manage a team of project managers who support delivery of SaaS Solutions to pharma and biotech customers
- Support resource management and monitor utilization for project managers
- Serve as PM oversight or potentially the primary PM on high-profile enterprise client projects
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and training initiatives for Project Management
- Collaborate with Customer Success function on processes, standards, and workflows for governance, client management, issue/escalation management, and other project management tasks
- Perform root cause analysis and coordinate to obtain resolutions to escalations as needed
- Plan, organize, and manage QuartzBio projects in collaboration with QuartzBio technical teams and SMEs
- Create and maintain action / issue logs, identify risks, and proactively manage completion of assigned tasks
- Develop, implement, and maintain dashboards and reports
- Support reporting for resource and financial forecasts
- Review work product as appropriate
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum Required:
- Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Life Sciences or related field
- 5 years of experience in project management
Other Required:
- Knowledge of technical workflows for SaaS solutions or software providers
- Knowledge of project and change management and associated methodologies, techniques, and processes
- Knowledge of resource management tools
- Experience as a senior-level project leader capable of handling complex issues and customer relationships
- Experience managing teams and people
- Experience with project management tools and software
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must be able to read, write, speak fluently and comprehend the English language
Preferred:
- Experience with Smartsheets software
- Experience with Atlassian software (Conflience, Jira)
- Experience with Microsoft Teams and Sharepoint
- Experience with software development and/or implementation of general-purpose software
- PMP certification

This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.Reasonable estimate of the current range$115,000—$140,000 USD
